Reading Buckley
I love finding an established author that I enjoy reading. It's so much better than finding a newer writer that I enjoy (yes, I'm thinking right now of Susanna Clark of JS&MN notoriety - I finished The Ladies of Grace Adieu some time ago and now what? I just have to wait around). Lately I've been hooked on Christopher Buckley. After reading Boomsday and now Thank You For Smoking (good and different than the movie), I am a fan. Buckley is easy to read and his ideas and plots are clever, interesting, and fun.
Nicely, he has seven books of good satire out there, so I'll be able to enjoy it for a while and not be frustrated waiting for more.
